I got away from Ares as quickly as possible because of the leeches who insert passwords and other crap in the movies that prevents you from watching them until you pay their price.

file transfering is too slow.. (as slow as 1kb/sec..) takes weeks to download a movie.. can u teach me how to speed up transfering files using ares?

I have been using Ares for about a year... i have 2 say .. it was the best program ever!! but now... it doesnt connect anymore... the search is good but no connection..!!

i have used the original ares 2.0 and ares lite for a long time. both are awesome file sharing programs. but, at first they might have trouble connecting to the network. but u have to be patient. check all ur settings and when u connect it is really fast and worth it.

Ares is best P2P Program easy to use, fast and has Tones of files. GET RID OF YOUR OTHER JUNK P2PS ARES IT BOSSSSS.

I've had Ares for a while and love it, But mine sometimes quits connecting. I just got a new computer and downloaded I think the regular. It said test failed now it says passed but won't connect still. I went to Nortons and chose to Allow this program and I went to Windows Firewall and allowed. I have Windows Vista. How do I make this connect. I may uninstall it and try the lite. People at work use LimeWire but I like Ares. I used to use Kazza Lite ++ before someone told me about Ares.
