5 Star Rating A Perfect way of enjoyment, Sun Jan 28 2007

A game worth buying
Aveyond I:Rhen's Quest is finally out! And is it good? You bet it is. After the suspenseful ending of its prequel, Ahriman's Prophecy, which is about how a young girl named Talia Maurva was destined to stop the Ahriman Prophecy, everyone is hungry about what will happen next. "Will Talia die?" asked one nervously. "Is Ahriman dead? How about Zorom?" says another. No, Ahriman was NOT dead (though Zorom is, but play Ahriman's Prophecy to see who he is). In fact, he became so powerful, too powerful to be destroyed by weak little Agea, which got smashed yet again.
Then, it all started. Ahriman overheard a prophecy that the young Princess of Thais will annihilate him once and for all. She was the daughter of King Devin Perry and Queen Alicia Pendragon (what? Devin didn't marry Talia? *sob* *sob*). When he heard about the prophecy, the demon destroyed the kingdom and leveled the city. Queen Alicia dies in the struggle and King Devin fled. Before her death, Alicia entrusted her baby, with the Pendragon Sigma Ring (which will identify her) to her most trusted general, Tailor Darzon. Tailor carried the baby, which was then named Rhen, to a village far far away, with the help of Priestess Talia.
Now Ahriman was angry. He sent a subordinate to assassinate Talia, but failed. Leaving Dreamland in a frenzy, she uttered a quick spell to summon Rhen, who was then eight years of age to her assistance on that fateful day. She saves Talia and was presented with a Priestess Ring. However, it makes one of Ahriman's minions to mistake Rhen as Talia and she was sold as a slave. She was tormented by her Mistress Rona and her son Lars for three months. Angered, she accidentally cast a spell which frees her and sends her to a noble school called Shadwood Academy, which Lars was in.

After a few years, Rhen found the lost Priestess Ring and Talia finds her yet again. She was brought to the Empress Palace and knew she had to embark on a quest with Lars - the last thing she felt like doing.
Torn from her school, Rhen and Lars set off into the open world to a journey... to destroy Ahriman, realise her destiny, decide her fate, and find out her true background...
"Is Tailor really my true father?"

5 Star Rating Amazing Game!, Mon Nov 27 2006

A very special rpg
This game is amazing. It is a sequel to another great game, Ahriman's Prophecy, where a young girl named Talia Maurva is sent to stop a Dark Prophecy, which is the Ahriman Prophecy. In Ahriman's Prophecy Talia and her friends get to kill Ahriman but you will soon discover in Aveyond that Ahriman is stronger than he ever was, with the help of his daevas. Aveyond begins with Talia in the Dream-world. She was asleep in the Dreamworld (Talia became the Dreamer, and Dreamers cannot wake), but one of Ahriman's daevas, Agas, came and tried to kill her. He thought Talia was dead and left. But Talia was not, and she summoned a butterfly to seek help from "the child". The butterfly finds Rhen, and Talia requests Rhen to pull her out of the Dream-world. And it all starts for Rhen... soon she got captured by a slave, but then freed, and informed about the prophecy at the Empress Palace, goes on a journey with Lars, the mean son of her previous mistress. But it was only the beginning... soon she finds the Sun Priest, Dameon, and love blossoms between them. But is he what he really seems to be...? Dameon is Talia's son all right, but their relationship is terrible because Talia killed Dameon's father. Dameon refused to believe that Talia killed him because he was in league with Ahriman and joins the Dark Side. But with Rhen's help, he might come back to his senses.
This is an amazing game, I can't wait for more. Especially when you have just finished playing Ahriman's Prophecy, which is free! (download at www.amaranthia.com)

This game is awesome! It really reminded me of the final phantasy or phantasy star game. The game is really easy to get the hang of, so anyone can play it. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.
