I'm running both Norton & ZoneAlarm
I'm running both Norton & ZoneAlarm each on a seperate PC (same models)
Norton has always been good in the past but with the 2004 version it's too weird.
That is the reason I'm running ZoneAlarm Pro now on my other PC. I run these both at the same time using one monitor.
I can say for sure that ZoneAlarm allows PC#2 to run a lot faster than PC#1 w/Norton.

Zone Alarm is the fourth firewall I've tried and pretty much the only one that hasn't given me problems. It's not necessarily a knock on the others, but more like zone alarm seems to be idiot proof! The more info button is a great idea, it takes you to the z.a. site and it tells you what happened, that is in case of an alert.

ZoneAlarm has a nice clean interface and techinically works really well. The problem is that I have consistently found that my connection "drops" and I get no net anywhere on my system. When I turn off ZoneAlarm completely, the net suddenly reappears. I have heard this happen to serveral other people and its very frustrating. Though it does work well, it works to such a point that the only way to control it is to remove it entirely.

The cookies are well protected. However, I found three trojans coming out of port 243 with cake and ice cream. Need more work.

Very good. It protects my PC silently and safe. It dont cut down the speed like many other firewalls.

I've been pretty skeptical of ZoneAlarm since my sister's 13 year old friend got into my ZoneAlarm "protected" system recently. I had both security settings on high too.

It's great firewall software i have ever come across. XP firewall failed, norton bothers a lot while surfing. But absolutely no problems with ZoneAlarm. WIth proper even without configuration it work well and silently. got to download...

I feel there is a person in the machine.
ZoneAlarm acts like a bouncer at an exclusive night club not letting in riff-raff and letting out the people you want to leave. It "CRANKS!!!"
