Itunes
itunes has a problem where it loses the ability to write dvd's on a windows machine. This weakness has to do with registry keys that the program claims have been altered by another program. I have encountered this problem on many pc's. Apple has no fix for the problem although they are aware of it. They have even taken the time to write a utility that basically tells you "it's broke" but does not repair the problem. You'd be better off with winamp if you want a free music utility. Unless of course you are an ipod owner in which case you are at Apples mercy.

It converts your file formats
itunes converts your audio format to any of the the three formats available, try doing that with windows media player!!. You can also create and customize a playlist according to your rules, and it will update the playlist each and every time a change happens (e.g. songs that you played 10 times)!

Simple and Powerful
iTunes is powerful enough to handle my 26 gigabytes of music, yet easy enough to use that even technophobes can "rip" cds with it. Best features include: automatic synchronization with iPod, intelligent playlist creation (based on rules you create), and of course, support for standard MP3 files. Worst feature is that "AAC" is the default file type it records in (be sure to change this under the Edit>Preferences menu to MP3!). Overall, a great program from a reliable major company with no spyware, no ads (which Musicmatch is full of), and no fee.

iTunes
iTunes is the best! I had kazaa but it is in no comparison to iTunes! I strongly suggest downloading it.

itunes
this is like a dream, another windows product bites the dust. itunes is great. I cant believe i used to think media player was good.

iTunes - the most user-friendly jukebox!
Hi all, I just donwloaded iTunes from www.sofotex,com a few days ago, and felt very glad to have a Mac jukebox in Windows. Personally, I think that iTunes comes in more handy than any other Media Players, and you can organize and personalize your music anytime when your computer is on! I think it is user-friendly becuase that it respect the copyright laws. Unlike other Media Players, iTunes does not allow you to covert a music file of the file of interest is proetcted by the copyright laws! No worries!

Great Jukebox, Great Musics
I am using Microsfot Windows as a platform for my laptop... I regretted for not buying Mac ones! The I Tunes of Apple is really a great envy of all music-listeners in the world! I Tunes automatically organizes your music according to various catagories! Great jukebox!

Wow!
I appreciate that now iTunes is available for Windows.
I can't believe how many people like iTunes. I gess it's because those people have a small music database. Because, if you have a library with something like 750 albums, iTunes it's almost useless, unusable, and not at all user-friendly. It's too heavy for you to work with in a large database. But the thing that makes me hate iTunes worst is the fact that the people that design it and program it make it uncompatible with smaller more user-friendly applications such as Floola and Winamp. It's easier to work with these small programs, but if you update your iPod software in iTunes, you can't work with these applications anymore until there are compatibility updates to these little programs. It sucks, because, when iTunes figures out that you're using another program to manage your iPod... all hell breaks loose, and sometimes it damages de files on your ipod, like erase the artwork, the sequence of the songs in the album and so on.
