Older versions worked great as reported by earlier reviews. There are problems with FTP upload in 3.1.7 that make it unuseable. Not just me - other users on the WebcamFirst website forum have the problem. Hope they fix it soon.

Simple to use, powerfull

I got the free Microsoft webcam stuff, but it didn’t work with my Aiptek cam. I found this while I was trying to dig up answers to my hardware/software problem. Everybody I read had given up hope on Microsoft and was using this. I joined the bunch and I’ve been very happy with WebcamFirst.

The control screen doesn’t seem to size properly with different capture resolution settings, but it’s a brainless setup and it’s rock solid software. http://www.russwill.com./webcam
