Reviews for Visual Day Planner 7.3
I downloaded a 30 day trial version of Visual Day Planner. I was so impressed with it that I purchased the program a week later. And that is where my troubles began.
After downloading the purchased version I tried to right click on the .exe to view properties. Every time I tried to do this it would cause a KRNL386.EXE error and shut down my Windows Explorer and 2 other programs running in my system tray.
After getting it installed I discovered that the icons supplied with the program, to decorate the calendar, did not have the transparent background the trial version did. What good is that? I mean, being able to the decorate the desktop calendar with all these really neat looking icons was one of the main reasons for buying the program.
In the help section the inKline Glabal web site it is stated that once I purchase the program I would receive an e-mail with my registration number, and entering that registration number would customize the start screen with my Name.
I sent a tech support form to inKline Global describing the problems I was having and the fact that I did not receive any such e-mail or registration number. In that report I detailed the facts that I went back to the sight and downloaded the program again, and just to be safe I also downloaded it from the second site offered, and saved it to a second folder. I have un-installed and re-installed it a total of 3 times. First I re-installed it with the download from the first download site, and then the download from the second download site. Un-installing it and doing a system check between each try.
Obviously my tech support request was not even read. There reply to it was, and I quote, spelling mistakes and all.
"Dear Customer
The download of the program may got some program. I suggest that you
download again the program and install it again.
As it is registered version, so there should be no other code needed".
Well, In the program under file, registration, there is no registration number, it is blank. And no way of putting my name in without a registration number added.
I have requested a refund of my money. It will be interesting to see if they honour their 60 Day Money Back Guarantee.
