My settings were all correct for a backup, but this garbage wrote the old files over the new. The damage measures in the thousands of dollars. No software is worth that.

It backs up, it synchronizes a single machine, over a network, or over the web with FTP. It also has command line backup, so you can create a batch file for one click synchronization to wherever you choose. It does it all. Hats off to 2BrightSparks. Have tried the rest, this is the best.

I spent a few hours trying out some free data backup softwares (I tried 4 of them actually, under heavy conditions: 30.000+ files). This is the best I found, and BY VERY FAR ! Expert mode allows you to set up synchronization and backup conditions on anything I could think of. It's fast, reliable and very easy to use. Great interface as well. Good job, thanks ! hello! i tried many apps for backup and all are not as good as this one. some of them provide ONLY zip backups (this is not good at all), others do not provide good automatic schedule or they do not have advanced configuration (just simple "click'n'backup" stuff. The programs i'm talking about are, of course, shareware for less features LOL. congratulations to the author. p.s. i do not say this one is perfect in all situations, but it is very, very good.

I've tried several backup/syschronize programs. This is by far, the cream of the crop. Easy to use and quick.
