This is a great little program that I use to record meetings. My favorite feature is the adjustable MP3 bitrate, which ranges from "phone" up to "CD+" quality. The technical support couldn't be better. I found one little 'bug' in the software but tech support replied to my e-mail in less than an hour - and resolved the problem. StepVoice is compact (~384Kb) and very easy to use. If you plan to make long recordings at CD+ quality, you will need a lot of hard drive space; one hour of audio at the 256kbps level requires 112.5Mb.
The recording frequency is also adjustable, up to 44100kHz.
I highly recommend this excellent audio program.
