Outdated Utility
This was a great piece of software in its time. But the fact that it hasn't been updated since 2004 makes it useless as far as protection goes for 2008

SpywareGuard
No updates since 2004 - makes this excellent project obsolete now.

SpywareGuard
i have no problems with my computer, since,i installed Spyware Guard.

Great app, but no more updates
SpywareGuard is an excellent anti-spyware solution, but the latest definitions are dated January 2004, which makes the app useless today.

No updates
Lack of updates in over a year are making this once good utility obsolete.

Use it
Brilliant. Use SpywareGaurd. Use it with SpywareBlaster and you'll be much safer when on-line. Fantastic software.

Spywareguard
This little utility, along with the related Spywareblaster, has worked wonders at keeping sneaky rats off my system. I've never had any trouble getting updates, myself. I'd feel naked going online without it. Highly recommended

seems fine but where's the update?
just downloaded this yesterday,
but the latest update is on the 22nd jan this year? Surely there should be more?

home
very good and free...

SpyWare Guard and Spyware Blaster
I have been using these two products from javacoolsoftware.com for the last couple of months and they are priceless. I run it on three platforms (Win98, Win2K and XP) and works well on all. I tried running other products to see if it missed anything and they came up clean. Kewl!! They have other free products there too...the other one I use is MRU Blaster which automatically erases cookies and Temp IE files. Two thumbs up.

spywareguard
simple to use does just what it says, and is great if you want something to just sit there and do what it should protect would recommend running at least adaware as well but if you are worried about settings then download this for starters
Why is the most recent database update for SpywareGuard dated 2004?
Some of SpywareGuard's strongest protection is its Browser Hijacking Protection, which is a behavior-based defense. It doesn't need any sort of definition updates, and is still as effective (and powerful) as it was on the day of release.
I also wanted to add that this app installs and runs on Win 7 32bit.
