Great little software. I used it for many years. only problem is it does not work in Vista or later windows. I wish author or some one updated it for new OS.

The editor is hard to use.
Won't let U drag & drop.

This program is awesome I have had it for a few years and i have converted all my music to mp3.

I downloaded it from somwhere I don't remember and liked it from the moment I tried it the first time. It is small ( about 1Mb) Yet works perfectly even better than some comercial softwares. Big thanks to the maker. I am also amazed to see its ability to record streaming audio.

The best mp3 ripper I've used. All you need in one program. High quality rips in many different speeds/compressions. Load up the track records form a hughe database. Literally a simple mp3 maker.

Hands down, the most trouble free MP3 ripping software I've ever used. I've tried the others and there's a reason it goes by the name "Simple"...for putting your music collection onto the pc, onto a portable player, or making your own custom mixes, you can't do better! I've been using it for nearly 4 years, have tried others and keep coming back!!!!

Lance Perkins has been producing mp3 players and mp3 makers since the start of the internet,I think the first version was 4.0 and they all have been excellent programs. I use the mp3 player always along with the mp3 maker. Very simple as the name implies and the only one that I know of that features a gain control built in with the superb equalizer for audio playback. Additionally you can create your own skins for both the main and equalizer. It has a rack mount type look and does not use alot of system resources. ie (winamp)Keep up the great coding Lance cause you rate at the top.
