SecureAPlus reviewReviews for SecureAPlus

44444 Promising Software!

I like how they have 12 Antivirus engines which definitely give rise to a higher and more reliable detection rates and therefore serving good purpose as a 2nd line of defense. I would want to use it as the main one but there are several features that are lacking e.g. firewall which other AV offers it. Still, the differentiating factor would be its Application Whitelisting that blocks all application unless I unblock and trust it. The whitelist is initially created during their Full System Scan which was really slow but something to go through, would describe it as cooking something using slow cooker. Just let it scan through your computer for a while and the after results will be pleasing :) Now, I have absolute control of what is running in my computer! Need not worry about those applications that try to run without my permission!
I'm excited to see more improvements from them as they take feedback from their users seriously and always try to implement it in their updates. Another thing to look forward would be their improvement in UI which they mentioned it in a forum! :)
No harm giving it a try since it's free and what's even better is that you can get perpetual license if you share about SecureAPlus to your friends and family on social media and more. Thank you, SecureAPlus!

44444 Great Addition to Existing Security Suite

Having an Anti-Virus is always a given. Having two is pretty uncommon for all the right reasons but it is doable at a cost of system performance. But having 12 anti-virus without impacting computer speed, now that is one good proposition.

And that is what I got from SecureAPlus. You get Avira, AVG, BitDefender, and 9 other great anti-virus in one cloud solution. Their whitelisting tech is also what really makes it shine. It blocks everything save for those files you whitelist so it keeps anything that gets past 12 anti-viruses in check.

Best of all, I can install it with my existing solutions without any conflict. I have the free version of Avast and this compliments it quite well.

For downsides, it being in the cloud means that you lose the 12 anti-viruses when offline, but luckily the whitelisting protection is still intact so I just typically block anything it detects when I'm offline. The interface and their optional offline solution could be better.

Overall, since it's a free product, this is a very sweet deal. Note that you can either buy the paid version to extend the one-year license or help promote them to get free extensions. I honestly think it's a small deal and I'm happy to promote them for a job well done.
