I had Stopzilla for over 2 years. It did ok most of the time but I was infected with malware twice in the last 3 months. Stopzilla did nothing to protect me. Per the Stopzilla instructions I ran the diagnostics feature. This led me to an 800 number that I called. It was a noisy call center somewhere in the 3rd world. They were helpful and understanding at first, I stupidly let them log into my computer so they could have remote access (dumb I know). They checked a few things and then said they could help me. After a few minutes they tried to sell me an online virus removal for $249.99. They kept saying that it was better than Geek Squad, and would be done in 30 mins. Forget that I said. Then they would not release control of my computer. When I tried to close the rmote connection they kept taking the mouse control away.
I had to get another program to remove virus.
Don't trust them. Don't buy it. It is a rip off.

I don't know whether the software is good or bad. I opened another application and saw an offer for a FREE download of spyzilly. nearly three hours later I had downloaded the software, had a scan completed, and asked the software to remove the 128 problems it had found. It was at that point, and only at that point in the process that spyzilla told me I would have to purchase the software to complete the removal. I closed the window, deleted the software, and would not use the product if they sent a car to bring me to their headquarters for a free copy. If it's gonna cost, tell me, so I can decide if its worth it. Don't tell me the real cost after I've spent three hours. bad spyware. bad spyware.

dont buy this program. There are hidden cost. They will keep billing your credit card

Right on the front page StopZilla says it stops virusprotectpro, but it doesn't. Now it is another annoying program I can't get rid of.

i tried to uninstall this program and i get an error it keeps pop up with explorer and ask me if im sure i want to stop my protection and i say yes everytime

works great. updates all the time! but next time stopzilla try not to take over anyones pc to get them to buy it thats shameful putting spyware on someones pc so they buy it!!

Not only does it grt pop ups, but it is the best malware protection available. Constant defintion updates too. Great ant-phishing now as well.

its very helpfull

I purchased Stopzilla with reimbursement feature of $10.00. It did in fact help clear up many problems but my computer monitor started flickering. I called into tech support and was told it was a virus and they could do nothing about it. I do wish I had checked into more programs but I couldn't even get into the internet to do comparisons.

Great program until week of July 5. They upgraded and have a bug with Windows ME. It now wipes out Right Explorer Pane. Directory tree is not visible. Have been waiting 5 days for fix. No luck

I was plagued with pop-ups from one source. Nothing I tried worked so I tried Stopzilla. It worked great. I didn't realize how many other pop-ups were bothering me as well until Stopzilla was installed on my system. It works silently and perfectly. You don't have to monitor anything once it's set up. Only problem is that I lost my computer data and since it was originally a download I need to check how the company is going to handle the reinstatement of my purchase.

I posted a review above hoping that I would not have a problem getting a copy of the "key" for registration after purchase. Well it was instantaneous another 5 stars for Stopzilla - couldn't be happier.
