I use Radmin to work from home for almost 2 years. Previously I used v2.2 but v3.0 works even faster and includes a mission critical functionality I need: full screen mode with multiple monitors support, strong data encryption, various color modes (lower color depth increases the speed when you access remote pc with a slow internet connection), and drag-and-drop file transfer. Radmin uses pear-to-pear TCP/IP connection and doesn't require external servers. Only Radmin Server 3 is licensed. Radmin Viewer 3 is free and can be launched without installation from any portable flash drive. Just install the Viewer to any PC and copy all files from Program FilesRadmin Viewer 3.0 to a flash drive.

Very efficient package workable over dial up modem with the ability to connect via chosen TCP/IP socket. Will auto scroll a larger remote desktop on your smaller laptop. Can use the first machine on a company lan as a gateway allowing you to connect through to other Radmin machines. Reasonable licence fee of server & client included. Updated version been in the making for ages so dont hold your breath but still current version works fine.
