I used protector plus to clean computer infected with trojans and did better job than Norton 2005.

I've used Protector Plus for more than six years and never had a problem with it. Their responses to requests for support are consistently timely and accurate.

Excellent software,new system with XP home came equipped with McAfee but chose this system. Updates often, no noticeable slowing of system. My choice for THE antivirus.

I had downloaded it on a system infected with 850 viruses. it cleans them all. but it slows down your system like mcafee virus scan 5. I had also tested Norton Anti Virus 2003 Professional, its really a good package, but a bit expensive then this.

I had tested on my computer infected with 1350 viruse, it deletes all viri but very slow scan engine, it also slow downs the whole system, rather than that use norton anti virus 2003

We downloaded this shareware program after being infected by a 1445 virus and a worm which appear to have escaped detection by, and disabled, Norton Antivirus 4. The program was quick to download and had a useful capability to run in DOS from a single floppy as well as in Windows. The site also had helpful short downloads to deal with specific viruses if you did not want the whole program. Most usefully, the program seems not to slow startup or running.
