I found the Meo Encryption Software to be very good.
It has encryted e-mails and some of my personal files very quickly and easily, and also decrypts them too.
A very good useful tool.

What a load of junk!!!! I encrypted a Word document, it created an encrypted file with an extension of "cry" which could only be converted back to the Word doc using the program and entering the password. BUT - I could read the entire text of the original document simply by opening the supposedly encrypted file in Notepad!!!!
