Downloaded demo, worked ok, although it does not show the actual letters typed in chat, (only xxx) and only the first 5 programs run, nor did any hotmail message seem to work.

Software has very good user interface. Is easy to setup and use. Can monitor all users or just selected one. If running on xp then it needs to know the admin password.

Emailed kidcontrol and like the previous writer, over lack of hotmail reports and it appears no one is home at kidcontrol.

Thought that this was because it was the demo version only - so went and paid for a licence key. Saw also that newer version was available. Downloaded this 5.3a and entered the licence key information. I demo 5.2c.

Now I cannot get the software to "run at startup" even though looking with regedit the program winlogin.exe in c:windowssystem32fontsmru
etddesn is included to run at startup.

I have removed the software (although using their remove software option does NOT remove all of it!). Removed the reg keys of the software and still cannot get it to monitor.

Have email kidcontrol again.

Avoid this package seems to work only in demo.

I think I have wasted my money.

I purchased this software and so far nothing is working right I have spent all afternoon trying to get help and one error after another this does not seem like a good program at all

You may not want to waste your time with KidControl. I just paid to register my software. Attempts to get the free trial of the online service results in an error. Attempts to send a support message results in Page not found. Attempts to purchase the online service sends one to a PayPal page that says this vendor cannot receive payments. It makes one wonder if there is no one home at KidControl. This makes me nervous, trusting detailed information about my child's computing habits to what to me seems like a shady organization.
