That comment really helped. I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to resend the damn message. Why couldn't MS just make our lives easier by putting it under the actions menu with having to open it!

There is a built-in command under the Action menu item of an opened email in Outlook named "Resend this message" that already does this function easily.
