ENUFF Pc reviewReviews for ENUFF Pc

22222 Nice product, horrible support

Notice the common threads to the three prior posts--abysmal customer support. When I first used it I had to email 3 times to get the correct information to get it to work. Now after a year something has gone wrong and I can't remove it because of all the security safeguards. I emailed them nearly 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing back, and of course no one answers their phone. Don't believe the hogwash on their site about 24/7 customer service!!

11111 ENUFF PC

I have been using a trial version of Enuff PC on an XP platform. When the trial period ended the system was completely blocked, and I had to perform a complete reinstallation of XP (repair was not enough) and then finally I could uninstall the program. I have tried several times to to contact the company behind Enuff both via e-mail and phone, but without success. For two weeks I have been trying, but still no reply. Poor service and bad experience!

22222 Enuff PC

This software is quite effective for limiting time and access on the computer and the most recent version does seem to resolve the previous reviewer's issue about midnight changeover resetting access. I have been very happy with it EXCEPT: reinstalling requires redownloading the trial version and requesting a new "key" to unlock it in some cases (i.e. following a reformat of the drive). In this instance you must call or e-mail for a new key AND THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO PHONE CALLS OR 3 E-MAILS. They write on their website that they pride themselves on customer support but it is a JOKE! Support is non-existent and now the product I purchased is disabled and unusable. It's too bad because were it not for the overkill on piracy prevention and poor support I'd give it 5 stars. Instead I can only give it 2.

33333 Good Enuff

I have installed Enuff on two separate PC. On each, I have two profiles set up, one for school days and the other for weekends.

Generally I have found Enuff to work as advertised. The program works by first locking the cursor until authorized user signs on. Then it allows you to limit program acess by either allowing or preventing executable programs to run.

The good - user profile is easy to set up. Kid's can't circumvent though you must be certain to set other controls such as using Administrator sign ons and passwords to prevent them from accessing the BIOS or using "safe mode" to bypass the Enuff boot up and then delete the program.

The bad - identifying all the executable files that one might need is not as easy as it seems. Enuff provides a utility to assist with this, but it does take time.

I have also had a problem with profiles that end at midnight then allow access again at 00:01 AM the following day. I have this set up for kids who do homework past midnight, but they can't relog in after the midnight shut down. Unfortunately, Akrontech has not responded to my requests for help on this (3 emails in 10 days..)

This program will not work well if your child is learning programing and - for example - creates an executable file. Since that file was not previously identified by you as being "allowed", they can't run it without your help.

I'd give them a 4 except for the poor customer service.
