...that it works. It just works. Most software doesn't work the first time--you have to tweak it or fiddle with it for a bit until it works. This thing installed, fired up, and worked.

It's a little rough around the edges in terms of look and feel, but I can't complain. It works.

Good product

Read other reviews with complaints of no documentation and inability to make it run. Downloaded freeware and had to go find the missing dll (not present in XP). Read driver download instructions, placed downloaded dll in easy burn folder and boom, works great. True, not easy to understand if you haven't used something like DirectCD before. When I updated to XP, Roxio (Adaptec) EZ CD Creater refused to work, even after loading 5.0. Thanks to Easy Burn, I can now back up files on CDRW like before. Well worth the trouble of searching and downloading the missing dll.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but it doesn't work at all, no instructions. Arrived missing a dll that I found elsewhere and installed. Litle box pops up and says there's no SCSI manager available (whatever THAT is) but seems to run anyway. Problem is, nothing happens. Can't complain too much, you get what you pay for...

This is a very easy piece of software to use. It is low on frills, but it worked like a charm for what I wanted, which was to make a simple data CD. It opens a DOS window to give you the status of what it is doing, which I thought was a little unusual, but the burn went off without a hitch, which is the main thing.

It installed ok, but when I tried to open Easy Burning, it caused a page fault with Kernel32.dll, so I never got to try it.

OS is Windows 95a, on a Pentium 166 mmx computer.
