The latest version of 2010 version is 2010 build 131,may be this is also the last version of 2010?
I saw the 2011 versions are available there in their forum although they are beta versions.

It is more stable than Opera and IE. Has all features of Opera incorporated into IE. It is like the best of both worlds. I used to swear by Opera before I saw this!

Hi, I suggest you transfer to Avant Brower 2010 build 128. Much more stable, easier to use, never crash and release memory completely.

I use every feature of avant to the fullest. I have about 15 different quick searches and about 30 url aliases. This was the main feature that got me using avant, in addition to very quick new-tab opening.The other huge thing I liked was that if I ever installed a new OS my avant online account remained intact and the browser and bookmarks and settings remained exactly the same on all of my systems.

A most terrific Web Browser. This browser is an up and coming browser but it has come a long way. I've
followed this browser for a few years now and always keep it on my desktop to use if I've ever gotten bored with Firefox or just wanted to use something different. I really love this browser and just downloaded the newest version that was released December 2009, haven't used it or the last version or 2 in the past 4-8 months. But I was very satisfied with Avant when I did use it. Avant is just as good as Firefox and could be even better if the developers continued to shoot over the top!! Avant gets 5 Stars!!!

the latest version 11.8 alpha release memory completely and use less CPU. didn't find any no responsible/freezing problem these days ,good work.

I would definitely rate this as the top browser available today! The download is relatively small, the interface is extremely stable, mouse gestures and dockable tabs. Pop-up and ad blocking are excellent. The ability to block ActiveX, images, Java, and more "on the fly" is superb. It is much more compatible than Firefox and the developer has advertised as "Fastest Browser on Earth". Over the last six months of extensive testing of alternatives to Internet Explorer, this one has got to be the "keeper" of the bunch!

I used Avant for about three weeks. Iam having trouble somewhere on my computer with Browsers in general. I have liked Avant the most of all the browsers I have had recently. I could browse ten to fourteen pages without slowing down my computer too much.

Forget Firefox and all the other browsers! Somebody knew how to make a browser when they did this one. It is VERY fast. I have dial up, but this makes it SO fast it is incredible, just like DSL. I highly suggest it!

AVANT BROWSER IS JUST SUPERB. I HAVE STOPPED USING THAT TROUBLING INTERNET EXPLORER AS I HAVE FOUND THE BEST ALTERNETIVE.

It apparently is just a mask over Microshaft's Internet Exploder. I was looking for something that didn't block everything -- I mean EVERYTHING -- like IE has been doing ever since I installed SP2. Avant has taken every setting of IE and won't let anything work either.

This browser, not so fast as Mozilla Firebird, is an excellent browser in the sense that it has multi-window option. Moreover it is extremely user friendly. My thanks to the creators of this browser. I have made it my default browser.

I have seen Avant when in loading use 60%-90% of CPU. When Pressing home Button it goes up to 95%. This is using the program in High Priority. This program locks in Real Time Priority. When not using the program it stays between 0% and 0.18%. Now with Explorer..i seen it at 40-95% in the loading. This is in Real-Time. When pressing home button it usually goes over 90% cpu usage. In explorer when no use it usually stays at 0% more often than Avant.In conclusion. the cpu usage seems better in Explorer. But not by that much. The main Factor is that Explorer can run properly for my computer in REAL TIME. when running AVANT in REAL TIME it crashes on exit and screws up the computer. Actual web page loading did not change in either browsers. If you are looking only for preformance there is not much difference. i am using minimum requirements...166mhz,32 megs ram, win98 and Another Task Manager for the cpu usage detection. Now i am looking at Actual Memory Load. OverAll size for avant after loading is 37732kbytes. For Explorer it is...33984kbytes It seems that Avant is actually allocating more memory. when you look at Avant.exe it is 655kb. and Iexplorer.exe it is 89kbs. It is the truth. Avant is actually a larger program than Internet Explorer 6. My second Conclusion is that there is actually no performance increase with Avant but i will run it because it blocks adds i think..
