Advanced System Care works great to force a delete of programs Windows has troubles deleting.

the free version is very good, i like the pro version because i can get a deeper reg. clean and loads of other options, not to mention the booster for internet speed. i own it and i use it daily. i like system mech as well and with both you can not go wrong.

The free version of ASC after the scan can tell you about the few hundred errors you still have, but if you pay some money you can get them fixed. This suggests that the free version is not that thorough.
