Wave Editor – Free Program to Cut and Edit Songs
Wave Editor is a free audio editor that can cut and / or edit songs in MP3, WAV (PCM, ADPCM, GSM61, A-LAW, U-LAW, DSP) and WMA. With it we can apply a huge number of effects, thickening / thinning / robotics voice, echoing, etc. Of course it allows us to copy, delete, extract and / or to add songs loaded in the editor.
It’s intuitive interface allows us to move easily among the few options available to us, therefore, to familiarize ourselves with it we do not need more than a few minutes. Wave Editor is known by creating, recording, editing and adding effects to audio files.
Just as I said above, Wave Editor is a program to cut songs very easy to use. After opening the software click on File then on Open to add a song in the editing panel, and then, using the Play button located in its upper bar we can listen the song and when we are assured of the passage that we want to cut we will select it and through the editing functions available in Edit menu, click copy and remove it or cut the side we do not need. That’s it.
As for the configuration options for Wave Editor it’s not really much to say, we can change the color of the editing panel and the location of the temporary folder where the songs will be saved during the editing process. As consumption of resources and compatibility really does not give you a problem: Wave Editor runs on XP, Vista and Windows 7. Depending on the size of song loaded in the editor and the amount of changes added to it, its memory consumption can vary between 18 MB and 80 MB, maximum 105 MB
