This patch is great and all, but it still doesn't fix the main problem of crashing during limit breaks...

hey can u guys help me i got the 1.4 xp patch downloaded and it all works good even the chocabo racing but when im leaving on cids airplane right as we crash my gam ecrashes help anyone have this problem too?

help!!!!!
i need to know if there is another patch to this problem. when i exit gaeia clifss to go into the crater the movie freezes up and i cant go further please help

Ok, people seem to not read the old reviews and just post the same problem over and over again even though I have already posted a possible solution.... :S

To quote myself:

This patch is a live saver, but I also crash when I get to the crater the first time, on whatever the name was of that icy mountain... :D

Anyway, I have a solution! I don't know if this also helps when crashing with the tiny bronco, but atleast it helps with the crater.

You have to replace tm20dec.ax in system32 in the windows folder with this file (so that's C:\WINDOWS\system32). Before you replace it, back up your original tm20dec.ax, in case anything goes wrong.

I hope this file helps you all as much as it has helped me. ;)

Ps. If you don't know how to download this file, click on the link. When megaupload has loaded you should see a wait x seconds, so wait...
When the timer is at the end a popup will open over the timer, terminate that popup by clicking on the x and there is the download button. :D

Final Fantasy VII Corel Train Bug, Mon Dec 11 2006

I have this patch, and it has been making my game work perfectly through the first disc and the usual crash spots. However, I am stuck on the Corel Train, trying to get the huge materia by stopping the train from crashing into North Corel in disc 2. Everytime, I get through all of the battles on the cars and I get to the levers. As soon as the game is supposed to let me work the brakes, the controls just stop responding. The music, graphics, and timer still work, but I can't use any of the controls, custom or normal, and because of this, I can't stop the train, even with 7 minutes left until the crash. Please help!

whenever i get to the part where weapon gets shot in the face by the cannon it freezes and doesnt start up again if anyone can help that would be great cheers :P

I have tried the patch 1.4 and the opening scene is fine but when I get off the train the characters remain with a black screen. When the first battle screen appears everything returns to normal but cuts me back to desktop. This is using the hardware mode. In configuration everything passes but I get a failed on 8bit paletted textures. Using hardware mode i clicked nvidia and tnt and everyhing passes except 8 bit paletted textures that is blank. Using software mode the 8 bit palleted textures fail. The train scene and characters are fine but as sonn as the first battle occurs it brings me back to desktop. i would appreciate any help you could offer. i really would like to use the hardware mode and my card is a 6800 ultra. It is not a tnt or riva card. Thanks Scott

After Chocobo racing wins and choosing character, it just end up with blank screen and no voice. If i take the CD out, it comes up with an error encourage with the FF7 main theme... >.<need help...MSN->lim_sherin@hotmail.com
