The patch is working for the Chocobo race and other places in the game but unfortunately for me the game freezes everytime at the northern crater, after Cloud handle the black materia to Sephiroth. It happens during the movie when the plane takes off.

Hi all, if i intall the patch i cant start the game anymore. Its starts .. i get black screen.. and crash to desktop! with no reason!

I don't doubt the other reviews, but the patch just isnt working for me. My game freezes up every time I finish the first mission... Maybe time to reinstall?

My game used to crash after the first mission until I installed the patch. It then ran smoothly until I got to the chocobo races where it now crashes every time. I know people have had the same problem, but before they got the patch. Have I chosen the wrong configs to run the patch?

Strange but true i been playin more then 10 hours and then i got hang just rite before the chocobo race.
Then found this patch, downloaded and try to install, then the msg pop up
(FF7 currently is not install in your system) what to do next PLS any 1 help
