This patch didn´t help me at all. The game still glitches when the movie starts after getting out of Gaea´s cliff. :(( Please help me

Fixes most problems, BUT
It fixes many of the issues in Win XP, but the game will still crash on the crater scene on Gaea Cliffs. Is there a patch anyone knows to fix this? I tried the saving movies to hard drive solution and it didn't work :( please help! email solutions to cingram@ycp.edu

Installing this patch isn't enough, you need to run the game in compatibility mode for Windows 98. Here's how:
-Browse to the folder that has FF7.exe
-Right click and go to Properties
-Click on the Compatibility Tab
-Top of the window check the box for Compatibility mode
-From the dropdown box, select "Windows 98/Windows Me"
-Click ok

I installed this patch and I kept getting a blue screen and then my computer would restart. After doing the compatibility mode, it has been working fine!

The Triforce Holder
I hated always goin to the chocobo races and it always (and i mean always) quite and said there was a stupid error but with this patch i can now play the game without haveing to toss my gamepad all across my room

Ive seen everyone saying they have this problem and taht problem and i don't seem to get any problems on xp professional. But how i did that i believe is that i changed the programs os compatability tahts built into xp and i put it to 98 and it runs flawless. so try that out and see if it works for you

I downloaded the patch and i don't know how to install it. when i doublclicked it, it said that FF7 is not currently installed to my pc... ..Can some body help me please...!!!!! Just send the solution to my email... at ronaldaverion@hotmail.com... thanks

here's the story- i d-loaded the patch, works great, but the game crashes(at least for me) at the northern crater animation on DISC 2 and i dont know if it has to do with a coprrupted video file or something else- any help would be great - thanks

First off, thanks for all of your hard work on this patch. I know that your team must really love the game since you do not work for Eidos or Square and you took the time to make this patch anyways.

What exactly does it do? I installed the patch before beginning to play on XP, and I've still run into every big bug that I read about (yuffie, choco races, snowboard, graphics). In fact, I still had to go download other patches from the Eidos site to get through the game.

Once again, I am not trying to bash your hard work, but what exactly did you change?

I lost my disks for this game so im playing with a no-cd crack. but everytime i install this patch, it cancels out my crack and i cant put it back on!! Is there any way of putting this patch on with out cancelling out my crack??? please email me with an answer
