Cerberus FTP server keeps its promises
The Cerberus FTP server is a very-easy-to-use FTP server that is robust and slim. It is best fit for use in secure environments (LANs or behind firewalls). It does not support SFTP but I think that's ok for a free program.

Something is missing
Very cool, but I didn't find how to create subdirectories that forward to a network share. I didn't find to how to specify security for subdirectories... Only the first level seems to be secured...

Even though I've managed to configure other FTP server software, the ease of use of this program is just sweet. Like other reviews say, it just does the job it's supposed to and doesn't hassle you with useless options and unintuitive interfaces. And all this as freeware (for individuals)? Best deal for FTP server software that I can think of.

If you want a simple rock solid server, download now. Cerberus doesn't save try to save the world... but maybe that is why it is so damn easy to use. 5 stars, you can stop looking now=)

absolutely great software. I set up my first personal ftp server and amazingly it works. The interface is beautiful and the program is very easy to run. Five stars.
