Poor customer service and source code is not open, Tue Jan 02 2007

Whilst the software is very good, the customer service is extremely poor. I asked various questions when first purchasing this software and they were all answered to my satisfaction. One of them was that the code was 99% open source.
However, after purchasing (and you cannot get a demo), it appears that 40% of the files are encoded using zend encoder, therefore if you want to do anything apart from changing the themes, you are pretty stuck without requesting certain files to be decoded for you as and when you need to. But how do you know which files you will need to change if you cant even view them in the first place.
Also, documentation is non existent.
If you want an off the shelf script that just works, I would try something else. There were sql errors all over the place and I could not even go into the files to fix them.
