Disconnecting from my server, Sat Mar 18 2006

It was very good up until last night when it started to disconnect my server connection for no apparent reason. I was told by my server to remove the program from my computer and to download it again. Unfortunately, I am a little concerned about doing that, plus I can't remember which version I had before except that the icon read Avira AntiVir Personal Edition Classic which I do not see now on your list of Free programs offered.

Very good free software. However, as with all virus detectors, not all threats are picked up. Works well running alongside SpyBot search and destroy.

I'm a software development student final year. I find AVG easy on par with the big names such as Norton. The fact its not as automated as norton, (even tho u can make Norton none automated) is a good thing! Who wants anti virus popping up every day when your in the mid of some application?... In other words it does its job very well and has good support, it's easy to use and is updated reg and best of all its free what nice ppl at AVG to make a full functional free version too for us home users saves ppl looking for the update renewals ;)

I was using NOD32 and as far as i knew my computer was infections free. after my first AVG scan i found out that i had a trojan virus. i knew about this virus from my adaware program but it would not delete. Thnx so much AVG my computer is finally clean
