I HAD THIS ANTI VIRUS FOR 1YEAR,AND NOW I NEED TO UNSTALLER,THE OLD VERSION AND IT'S IMPOSIBLE,HOW CAN I TAKE OFF THIS ONE .I NEED HELP.MY COMPUTER IS INFECTED COMPLETELY.

An outstanding example of freeware
Coming off a year's use of Norton Antivirus, and after using AVG for over a year, I have found this freeware product generally superior to Norton. On its first pass it trapped a virus that Norton had missed after running it immediately before the AVG.

I have to totally agree with everyone that AVG is an amazing anti-virus program. I haven't have any problems since installing. But there is one thing that kind of bothered me. It's about the test scheduler, which runs the whole anti-virus at a set time. What bothered me is that when it is running, it's fine, but when my screensaver comes on, my whole computer slows down, then freezes. I thought it was something else, but I realize it's only when the test is running, so I took that off. Did this happen to anyone else? When the test is running, and your screensaver comes on, does your computer freeze? Now I will test the anti-virius manually. Is this a good idea? Should I run the anti-virius manully or scheduled? Someone who has had this happen before, PLEEEEEEEEEAAAASE let me know. Thanks!
