I've searched everywhere for something to compliment my AV's and Anti Spyware/Adwares, i run Spybot Search and Destroy, Webroot Spy Sweeper, Trend Micro PC Cillin 2005 Antivirus, Zone Alarm Firewall and this and i tell ya never once had a problem fantastic tool way better than AVG and Avast(used both before)

Best I have ever used
Being online every day running a select few programs when I go surfing I want to feel confident, or when I conduct transactions. I tested its shell at a virus test site and it performed well. I have quareenteed several worthless bugs. My computer runs like knew and it is 8 years old running xp pro now.

Great product
Have just updated to version7. This is a really solid AV and really easy to configure with regard to auto updates and scans. I have used Antivir for a few years now, tried many others including high priced packages. But I always come back to Antivir. Highly recommend this product does what it says on the box. Also has a very good forum.

Go to their website and download the beta version, now with improved GUI and better Spyware/Adware detection. The Cons is that now it takes more RAM but it's a beta version and you can send your comments to them.

I've been using this scanner for a few years now and trust it with my computer more then I trust Norton. It detects more stuff and is easy enough to use.

As of August 23, 2005 Antivir has incremental updates. Is in beta test but works perfect! Has been testing it against my personal virus collection and it's detection rate is very very good. Many thanks guys for this wonderful product! And IT'S FREE!!!
