WinSCP 2.0 Description:
WinSCP is freeware SCP (Secure CoPy) client for Windows 95/98/2000/NT using SSH (Secure SHell). Its main function is safe copying files between local and remote computer. Beyond this basic function, WinSCP manages some other actions with files. RSA and SSH2 are supported in new version. Drag & drop can be used to transfer files.
Server requirements
Using WinSCP, it is possible to connect to SSH (Secure SHell) server with SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) service, thus mainly to UNIX machines. SCP is part of SSH package. WinSCP supports both SSH1 and SSH2. For authentication user can use username and password or RSA key. RSA authentication is implemented for SSH1 only.
To generate RSA key file use PuTTYgen application.

If you have a shell account, which is getting exceedingly rare these days, especially on shared web hosts, this is THE program for you. I don't care what FTP proggie you are using, WinSCP will make it look like a kiddie script.
