syncback rocks !!
It backs up, it synchronizes a single machine, over a network, or over the web with FTP. It also has command line backup, so you can create a batch file for one click synchronization to wherever you choose. It does it all. Hats off to 2BrightSparks. Have tried the rest, this is the best.
Excellent ! The best I tried !
I spent a few hours trying out some free data backup softwares (I tried 4 of them actually, under heavy conditions: 30.000+ files). This is the best I found, and BY VERY FAR ! Expert mode allows you to set up synchronization and backup conditions on anything I could think of. It's fast, reliable and very easy to use. Great interface as well. Good job, thanks ! And completely FREE ! Amazing...
My settings were all correct for a backup, but this garbage wrote the old files over the new. The damage measures in the thousands of dollars. No software is worth that.
