Use the ActiveX controls included with the PowerTCP Winsock Tool to create any type of network application. These basic network building blocks contain everything needed to create a network application of any level of complexity.

Use the TCP control to communicate with clients using TCP. Implement any TCP-based high-level protocol (such as SMTP, FTP, POP, etc) or create your own TCP-based protocol.

Use the UDP control to communicate with clients using UDP. Implement any UDP-based high-level protocol (such as SNMP) or create your own UDP-based protocol.

Use the Daemon control to listen for incoming connections. Build your own listening or server application.

Use the Ping control to Ping remote hosts to check if they are online.

Use the RAS control to establish RAS connections to a remote server.
