NetworkActiv Web Server Description:
Very easy to use, reliable, intuitive, 100% freeware, secure, Windows based web server (HTTP Daemon) with a multilingual graphical user interface and a real-time on-screen connection log. Has a small footprint of just 608KB (not compressed!) and can be easily configured in just a few minutes. Allows for you to host websites and share files directly from your computer (no need to pay for web hosting), and share as many files and folders as you like. Supports the resuming of broken downloads, and supports direct HTTP file upload (easy to use and convenient). Supports CGI, PHP, and Perl. Collects comprehensive statistical information, which is viewable locally and remotely via a web browser (password protected). Customizable 404 and other error pages, customizable colours and fonts of file listings, and supports index files. Supports Common Log Format and Extended Common Log Format. Restrictable access by password protection and by IP address range allowing/blocking. Can be run as a service on NT based systems. This server can even be run without installing. Can easily host several domains simultaneously using native support. Contains absolutely No ads, banners, spyware, or nags.
