Review for Jetico Personal Firewall

I find that jetico firewall is not stable
I have used jetico firewall to protect my machine for a long time, but many times I could not connect to the network unless I restart my computer. All the time the jetico configurations are all the same

Jetico Personal Firewall
I have tried Jetico Personal Firewall on many occasions. It has come a long way since the first time I installed it, but it seems to still have a long way to go. It is interesting that Jetico has released there Personal Firewall as Freeware. I wonder if there are going to be any limitations once they have a stable program. You can google "Jetico Firewall" to see what I am talking about. I do like the way it is going though and it handles leaktests very well.

I would have found myself extremely glad to rate Jetico as 5*. Because i found this as an extremely low resource prgram, exceptioanlly good packet and application filtering system as well as application beheaviour analysis, it monitors application launching as well as process injection and more. This much set of features are not available in any common freeware firewalls, not even in the paid versions of many good once as Zone Alarm, Sygate (not available) or Kerio etc. No wonder this passes in all the leak tests, available today as well as score clean good in Security tests.
Only problem that Jetico presents is somewhat problematic and occationally unstable interface. You may have to revart back to factory settings to rectify any error while building up rules. Secondly novice users or beginers will find this very difficult to configure for proper application filtering, because the defence advisor says nothing about the application for a beginer. The same thing is presented well in Zone Alarm and Sygate. These basic problems if rectified will undoubtadly make Jetico an almost leak proof fortress at least as per todays date July 03-2006.
