Neat, different, tiny footprint. The interface may not be to everyone's taste, spoiled only by low res button graphics. I think it would do well in schools. Great on laptop - The online reference stuff goes to web sites so a quick connection is needed. If you open an existing text file and change font info it affects all the file. If you paste it in , you can work on blocks of text as normal. Good spell checker, good print preview, instant word count.
Opened a 1.2mb 130 page Word 2000 doc with graphics etc. in a little over 15 secs.
Saved to rtf = 5.5mb.
Saved to word 6.0 doc = 3mb re-opens in about 3 secs.
Saved to txt - ok,lost graphics = 430k.
It's staying on my drive for sure.
