Topics consist of two fields of unlimited size (Title and Contents) organized in multilevel outlines called catalogs. The treeview topic list supports direct drag and drop, as well as copying, cutting and pasting multiple topics at once. Huge catalog files load very fast and can contain an unlimited amount of topics. Text is easily formatted, highlighted, bookmarked, linked to, and more. And entering information --- and finding it! --- is simple and fast.
Hyperlinks allow cross-referencing entries, launching programs, opening pictures, databases, and web pages in their associated applications or the ones indicated by the user, and even accessing the Registry! A flexible Favorites menu, allows simultaneously opening multiple links, as well as storing and opening complete working environments as projects, with a single click. Files used in the previous session are automatically reopened at startup, as if the program were never closed. Reopening a catalog also reopens the topics in use the last time.
A tabbed interface supports having multiple documents and topics opened at the same time. Tab buttons are customizable and can be individually highlighted. Documents and topics can be compared side by side in separate floating windows for parallel editing, as well as using a third party utility. Spell checker supports live spelling for most languages; and the thesaurus, can be complemented with the popular WordWeb dictionary.
Novice users can be productive straight away, while more advanced users will enjoy its depth of features.
