Global Communications Network Description:

GCN is a new online communications service containing a complete package of features which allow members to communicate with eachother around the world. With GCN you can see when your friends and family are online. You can communicate instantly with anyone using the private message feature, or use the chat rooms to talk collectively in groups. You can send files back and forth using the direct file transfer feature. You can maintain forums using the message boards, which come with every room you register. You may use GCN's internal e-mail to contact those that aren't on when you are. GCN also gives you the ability to create and search member profiles to find those with similar interests. The voice chat feature can be used privately, or can be integrated with any chat room, allowing you to speak using a microphone, GCN even comes with games, such as chess, which you can use to play with other members. You can also draw pictures with another member using the white boards. When using GCN there is no need to open another web browser, as GCN has its own, fast browser built in. To actually see another member, you can always use GCN to participate in a live video conference.
