Gargoyle Tapeless Backup System Description:
Backup files via your FTP server or across a local network. A folder is created for each backup job in the location of your choice using the yyyymmdd format. Backup jobs can be configured to delete backup folders when they reach a specified age. An email notification is sent to one or more recipients reporting what was backed up and how much drive space is left on the destination drive. Gargoyle was designed to create an off-site, tapeless backup solution in conjunction with an FTP server. It is also just as effective as an on-site backup solution without an FTP server.
