FreeRIP MP3 is the very best CD to MP3 file converter that I have ever used. Having a large P2P server I rip a lot of CD's another feature is the ability to conver .WAV files to MP3 files. this is handy if you are into old music on tape or LP that was never released on CD. The auto gain feature works faily well so you do not have to fool around with the volume controls like some of the other ripping software. For free it's the best. I was so impressed that I sent the author a donation. I look forward to any upgrades that he might make.

Not really a flood of functions but really fast! I don't think you will need any other ripping program.
