Dr.Tag Description:

Dr.Tag application screenshot

Dr.Tag is an easy to use and powerful ID3 Tagging utility that lest you set Title, Artist, Album, Genre, Year, Comment and Track no on multiple files in your MP3 library. Use filename to define ID3 Tag, or use ID3 Tag to rename files according to your preferences. Remove underscores, %20s, capitalize titles automatically, set track number using track numbering mode or swap Artist-Album-Title in any order. Automatic feature does all the job for you. Internal/External play function, manual rename bar, and many useful functions available from the palette of action on the toolbar. Highly configurable, with complete Undo function you can save changes only when you finish editing and happy with the result. Dr.TAG saves LOTS of typing when you need to organize your library.

Operating System Support: Windows 98/ME/XP/2000

33333 hello

i thank u very very much its good software in good site

33333 Beware the Normalize feature

A great program for editing ID tags but if you buy the more expensive Dr. Tag Plus, be aware that it will clip your music.

The normalize feature is not documented, even though you have to pay more to get it (the cheaper Dr. Tag does not have this feature). It appears the Normalize feature is an average power and the default setting of 90% will cause the peaks of the loudest portion of every file to clip and distort. I've ruined my entire library (I know, I should have backed it up before normalizing) and onw I have to restore the clipped peaks or re-capture my entire library again.

Like I say, the tag editing is one of the best I've seen but use another program to normalize your files. If they would document this feature better in the help file or provide an option to normalize based on peak power instead of average power, this would be a better program in my opinion.

Excellent program. A bit of a memory hog, but that's the only drawback I've found.
