55555 Impressive product

Searching for another tool in the internet yesterday I came across DBDesigner4, and I must tell that I'm very happy so far with it.
Very simple tu use. Very straightforward. Of course you have to know a little about modelling but I suppose you do or you would not be here, right? ;-)
There are a few glitches in some dialogs like the other reviewer said. But it is tremendously useful and get the job done easily.
The Export Model as Image feature is GREAT!
Thanks to fabFORCE for this. Keep the good job.

55555 Great product that does the job very well.

I searched for a database modelling program and came across DBDesigner 4. The quality of this product is exceptional.
There are commercial products that are no better than this that sell for hundreds of dollars. Thank you fabForce for all of your efforts.
So how does it work? Very well indeed.
I needed to design a database for a fast track project, and needed something to build the database relationship diagrams for presentation to other project members.

DBD4 has allowed me do that in a minimum of time. The user interface is quite intuitive, and I did not need to make even one reference to the documentation.

It did take a little tweaking of model options to only get the main table fields to display and not all of the indexs but this was achieved.

I particulary like the ability to move database objects around the window, to get the best layout that represents the project.

With everything nicely on one screen I was then able to take a screen capture and create a graphic for the team members to look at.

One bug I did spot was the "Save As" dialog. The "OK" and "cancel" buttons are shifted off to the right of dialogs window so that you have to guess which is correct. Tip: OK is the top one. This was on the Windows version.

For a MySQL developer, this program is a great addition to the development kit.
