CyberDefender AntiSpyware

First I purchased their system for $39.95 and was billed $54.95.. Then they do an "analysis" of my computer and say that I need their tech help for $224 Later I find out that thier analysis was actual a trojan malware piece which caused my computer to shut down, IE does not work right...It is real bad stuff. (one hope is that ms security essentials, did a scan and has cleared much of the damage up) But it looks like I will need a new computer...Stay away from these scumbags.

I heard about it on the radio and tried it out I am so sorry I did!! After downloading it started running a scan, I stopped the scan so that I can make sure it was running my entire system and it wouldn't let me config it so I said what the heck just let it run the way it is set wrong cause I stopped the scan it will not start back up. I decided that I was not happy with the product and tried to uninstall THAT AIN'T HAPPENING it keeps saying that I have to close it in order to uninstall but will not let me close just keeps taking me to a internet page to buy the crap. So ok about that time a year when I reformat my hard drive anyway so just leave it there until. I do have the free version of Avast on my system and while sitting here today Avast has caught cyberdefender trying to download a trojan in my system not once but 4 times I know it is coming from cyberdefender cause avast shows a link from the site that is tring to download and the link is from CyberD. I have never had avast pop up with this threat until I installed cyberD. I highly suggest you STAY AWAY from this program if you don't want trojans. I tried AVG in the past but over time I came to see that it wasn't that great of a product either a friend of mine told me about Avast a few months ago, and I have been using it since. I though that maybe cyberdefender would be better and thanks to that program I come to trust Avast a little better.

I tried a few anti-virus projgrams, to include Norton (which issed several viruses), Pc Tools (it worked ok) and Panda (which really suckedk!). I tried Cyberdefender, and I've been happy with it for the last year. I did buy the upgrade and it's been well worth it!! The cust. support and computer help has been superb!! The system is kind of pay as you go for the help, but it's definitely cheaper (and quicker) than taking your computer to Best Buy then waiting 2 weeks for it to be fixed.
