This software, which used to be the bomb, is now crap in its current iteration. I installed it on a fresh copy of Windows XP SP3, thinking it was going to run as well as it did on my previous single-core machine a year ago. Boy was I wrong! This time I installed it on a dual-core machine and, from the outset, the hard drive was constantly running, causing enormous slowdowns and bottlenecks. I couldn't run any other programs, including web browsers, without a serious performance hit. I even changed the Windows performance settings to adjust for best performance and double checked that I had hard drive indexing disabled to no avail. I even shut down the process in task manager, but after a few minutes it would miracluously start up again. I uninstalled this program after only hours of use and my system is back to normal again. My personal recommendation is to avoid this program altogether and use something like CCleaner, because this program has turned into nothing but bloat.
