BullGuard

This product has surprised me to be honest. I thought it would be just another antivirus the same as all the other new kids on the block. With BullGuard it actually makes a refreshing change. The Antivirus is daily automatic updates and also covers you against Peer 2 Peer connections such as Kazaa, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, etc. The Firewall is great as it gives you the flexibility to let it all be done for you with the 'Beginner' or if you know what you're doing simply click on the 'Advanced' level. Online Backup is a must for myself as I work from home weekon week off. I can backup all my files online and retrieve them when I go in to the office the following week simply by using my username and password. I'm led to believe it is 128bit encrypted which gives total peace of mind that no-one else can view it. The technical support is not something I have needed to use yet but I thought I'd give it a try just to see what response time there was, to say I am impressed is an understatement. It took just 15 seconds from when the chat applet opened for someone to ask politely how may the help. I think that peope in general underestimate just how big BullGuard is as a company. They have 15million users and cover 26 million users via P2P. This is information that you can see at the top of their website. Also, if you do try the 2 month trial version from their homepage, you will be allowed to receive a newsletter. Highly recommended newsletter as it breaks from the norm of antivirus, outbreaks and you must buy that you get from other antivirus companies such as Panda. With BullGuard the newsletter is hilarious with a little in about viruses. All in all I would recommend this product to anyone as so far I have had nothing good things come fom the product.

Actually that activation code has to be activated only one time for a BullGuard account. Afterwards, you just need to login to BullGuard with your username and password and your subscription will be updated. ;)

One of the best antiviruses on the market. Daily updates, powerfull antispyware, not once it found infections that Symantec and/or McAffe didn't notice. This convinced me to use BullGuard on all of my computers.

Also, I have tried their Support service (free 24/7)... awesome. Very fast people there. They answered to my e-mail in 30 min... this is how I've discovered that their email response time is... 1 hour. Wow.. nice. And they have Live Chat as well.

Another thing I like is that one subscription can be used on three computers at a time. Isn't that great?

Not so great: their Spamfilter supports only MS Outlook and Outlook Express. They said it will be compatible with Thunderbird very soon. Waiting for this:)

i bought a copy of bullguard it worked fine untill my computer had to have a format when i tried to re enstall it would not except the code number i got in touch with bull guard they offerd me a few more days for free if you pay for a 12 months vershion on cd you should get 12 months not 12 weeks so to me it is two expensive
