Review for AuctionSleuth

Went to yearly update subscription after purchase.
I bought this software about a year and a half ago. Sometimes it worked ok, sometimes not. It wasn't that easy to use so I forgot about it for a while.
Recently I decided to give it another go and it told me I was a "Registered User" but then shut the software down because I needed to "re-register".
So I contact "Bob", the author, and he tells me I need to pay more money to use the software. I tell him that when I paid my money, there was no "yearly fee" for updates just so I can continue to use the software.
His reply was, paraphrased, "well, now there is, and that's the way it is."
So, he has my money and I have a piece of software I can't use, and he doesn't care.
I don't care if AuctionSleuth is the best software out there (fortunately, it's not), I won't be paying one more cent for it.

AuctionSleuth is HORRIFIC!
AuctionSleuth is HORRIFIC! It fails about half the time to signin ant therefor LOOSES snipe auctions that you would have won if it didn't screw up. Also it causes all running programs windows to flicker about once a second as it updates, even it it is minimized running in the background. STAY AWAY, there are far better programs available.
Works GREAT! No snipe software is perfect. AuctionSleuth keeps up with the many changes the auction sites make. Most software compnaies dont do that at all. AuctionSleuth is the 5th snipe program I have purchased and it is the ONLY one that works and continues to work. Support is excellent. Possibly the other user was not computer literate?
