Ancient Rome Screensaver Description:
This tiny (160K) Ancient Rome Screen Saver cycles through dozens of beautiful color photos of ancient Rome, accompanied by quotes from ancient Rome's famous and controversial thinkers. The screen saver periodically downloads new images while it is running if an internet connection is available, so you will end up with new images as the screen saver runs. Updated 12/4/04 to fix a bug that prevented it from working at all on some systems.
