Adminsoft Accounts

I wasn't expecting much from some free accounting software. So boy was I suprised! This software does everything I want. You can enter loads of details about customers and suppliers, and the invoicing is great. It's real easy to use. On the downside there's no stock control unless you buy the full product. Although you can set up a basic price list, useful for invoicing. Also support is only available by email, no telephone support. Oh and you can't generate your own report or invoice formats, you can only use the predefined formats they supply. No big deal. WOuld have been useful to be able to change invoice layouts though. It has a nominal ledger, but I don't know a huge lot about accounts, so haven't used that bit! The package works for me. It has kind of two modes, a basic mode (which I use) which makes everything simple to use, and another mode which offers loads more functions and details, but is more complicated. I guess if you know a bit about accounts you might use it in that mode. But I like to keep things simple!
