Problems
Reviewed by: roman, Thu Jun 02 2005
First I instaled this program.
I tested the following: I added my RSS feeds and then a setup .exe was created.
This program is described to be useful to web developers, but it is only a RSS reader, like many other softwares of this kind.
If you are a developer and you want to make a setup to be downloaded by other people, this program is not useful because you can only add your RSS, but also other RSS are already instaled, and you cannot make this setup to look like a "news software" created by you, with your logo or web address.
How to think to make this setup available for others if you are a developer if this program makes problems into your computer ?
After I created a setup with this "software" my Internet Explorer is dead, also other minor changes in my computer occured.
Now when I press on Internet Explorer the following page opens like in My Computer: C:\WINDOWS\Desktop
Opera and Firefox still work.
I need to reinstall Internet Explorer.
The conclusion: you can use this Active Web Reader Customizer only like an RSS Reader, but you have other free RSS readers, so you don't need this.
If you are a developer trying like me to distribute your RSS over internet, try elsewhere, do not risk to make problems in computer to your users.
