Having no experience of any other software (which all seem to cost many times more than this one)I can assure you that it does exactly what it claims to do. I can record a song over 8 separate tracks, tweaking each one individually, correcting errors, adding echo effects, adjusting the levels of individual instruments; and then mix them all down into a stereo wave file or mp3 file - ready for burning onto a CD. Hey Presto I've made a demo disc of my one man band and had a lot of fun in the process!
